“Actions are based on intentions” (Hadith – Bukhari)

And of His signs is this: He created for you mates from yourself that you might find rest in them, and He ordained between you love and mercy. Lo, therein indeed are portents for folk who reflect“.
(Quran 30:21)

It was narrated from Aishah(ra) that: the Messenger of Allah(saw) said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire. ( Hadith – Sunan Ibn Majah – Book 9, Hadith 1919)

and thus our main purpose is to seek the pleasure of Allah swt. And we wish to do that by reviving a Sunnah of the Prophet (saw) – Marriage. There are many Islamic virtues of getting married, it’s importance and reward. Please consult your local Imam/Scholar or Islamic Organisation about this BEFORE embarking on the path.

Muslim Marriage Events are organised by Islamic Circles, a community-based network that has been running at the Froud Community Centre, East London, UK, since January 2001. They organise a wide range of Islamic events and activities including short courses, seminars, workshops, social gatherings and more.

They are the pioneers of Muslim Marriage events and have been organising such events over the last 20 years in various countries. The matrimonial service was set up following a detailed evaluation of the different ways in which Muslims find marriage partners in the UK. Several events have been organised over the past years catering for a range of people within the Muslim community. The organisers of the event are married and have no vested interests.

The team is composed of all Muslims speaking an array of languages and experiences such as English, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Russian, Turkic, Bahasa, Malay , Latin and many others.
